AKKASH

 

AKKASH (Ahmedabad Karn Kayastha Association for Social Harmony) was established on 13th August 2017 in a meeting attended by 15 members of community for the social welfare and cultural upliftment of the community aiming to improve the quality of life and preserve the cultural heritage of the Karn Kayastha community in and around Ahmedabad.

Social Welfare:

​

1. Education: Encourage & support the talent of the community children.

2. Healthcare: Medical help & support in case of emergency. Ensure physical and medical well being and hygiene awareness in the community.

3. Economic Empowerment:  Financial support & help in job opportunities.

4. Social Justice: Advocacy for equality and legal aid promotes fairness.

Cultural Upliftment:

​

1. Arts & Crafts:   Workshops, exhibitions and performances showcase traditional skills.

2. Language and Literature:  Language preservation, literary festivals and celebrate cultural identity.

3. Heritage preservation:  Arrange cultural events and honour community legacy.

4. Community engagements: Celebrate Festivals with  cultural events and social gatherings and foster unity.​
